Decorating the Tree

This year Makinsey had a great time putting on all the Christmas ornaments on the tree. She had such a great time and we loved watching her. This Christmas is going to be wonderful. Lewis, Makinsey, and I love this time of the year. Making cookies for everyone at work and school. Taking Makinsey to see Santa so she could tell him exactly what she would like. Let me tell you she described the doll that she wants from head to toe. Taking time out of our day to do the best shopping of the season “Toys for Tots”, we take Makinsey shopping at the toy store and let her pick out toys for little boys and girls. Lewis and I have been doing this for many years. Last year was fun with Makinsey but this year she understands better why we will give all the toys to the firemen. And most of all, we get to spend time with our families.

The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!

May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

As you can see Makinsey does not like the Grinch. Makinsey would not calm down until Lewis and her put him in the back seat of the patrol car with the handcuffs. Lewis had to take him to jail the next morning.

Big News

No Pull-ups Tonight:-)'

Tonight when Makinsey was getting ready for bed she told daddy that she did not want to wear her pull-ups. I couldn't tell you the last time she had a wet night but it still is a big deal to us. We told her that she had to come tell us if she needs to go to the potty during the night and that was it. Wish us luck.

My Twin Cousins

Nancy and Daniel are new parents to Kate and Lea born July 4th. Nancy is Lewis' sister.

Georgia Aquarium

We decided to go the Georgia Aquarium today. This was the first time we went since it opened a few years ago. I'm glad we went. It was amazing how many different fish we saw. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back.

Wow, Look how pretty!!!

Lewis and I were walking around the house this evening and I saw my Hydrangea blooming. I had to cut some for the house. Wow, I think I am making my mom proud. Yes, Mom fresh flowers in the house.
